A multidisciplinary approach to contemporary design
Metamor & Partners SRL grew out of a professional journey that began in 2007 in the fields of architecture, engineering, and landscape. Founded in Lecce by architects Juri Battaglini and Luigi Cardignan, the company continues the research first developed by Metamor Architetti e Associati around contemporary life, the transformation of places, and the relationship between human habits and non-human environments.
The practice developed through early work in architectural and urban design, regeneration initiatives carried out with local communities across Salento, and its later establishment as an engineering company. This journey has brought broader expertise and ongoing collaboration with specialists in landscape, environment, biology, and structural engineering. Its focus includes urban green infrastructure, ecological networks, reduced land consumption, inclusive public spaces, and sustainable technologies.
The partners share the belief that every project should represent a responsible transformation. Architecture, landscape, public space, and infrastructure are not separate disciplines, but parts of one system. Every decision aims to improve spatial quality, reveal new identities within a place, integrate architecture with plants, light, water, and soil, and imagine spaces for both human and non-human communities.
Based in Lecce, Metamor & Partners works across urban, peri-urban, and rural settings. The practice has designed urban parks, projects in protected landscapes, rural parks, multisport public spaces, public buildings, and residential, commercial, and hospitality developments.
The practice combines technical rigor with cultural sensitivity, developed through extensive field research and direct engagement with local residents. Metamor & Partners takes a practical, multidisciplinary approach that turns public and private needs into feasible, sustainable projects capable of creating shared value.
